We have collective production orders separate orders for finished goods and semi finished goods. We donot receive the semi finished goods in stock rather it remains in shop floor. At month end, we found that if we run the WIP, system calculate the the WIP for those orders which are not yet delivered, but in case of semi finished goods, there is no WIP. Then we go to settlement and run. It moves the costs of semifinished goods to parent production order. From there if we rerun the WIP program, system calculate the WIP of semi finished goods also to parent production order. Is this standard behavior of system or we can do it in one shot. I know we can reduce one step by running settlement first then run WIP and settlement but I wan to run WIP and settlement one time only.
