Check if system is at 7.40SP05

Hi all,

I need to (eventually programmatically) check if a SAP system is at 7.40SP05 (or above). Where do I start from?

Is it the value of SY-SAPRL? (as displayed by a "WRITE SY-SAPRL." ABAP statement)

Is it the release of SAP_BASIS and/or SAP_ABA components? (as displayed in SAPGUI when I click menu "System/Status..." and then the button under "SAP System data" / "Component version")

Is it the kernel release (most probably not)? (as displayed in SAPGUI when I click menu "System/Status..." and then the button next to "Navigate")

Is it somewhere inside database tables SVERS or CVERS?

(Of course the above are not "programmatic", but knowing the correct answer is the first step).
