Major KPIs in sensor based analytics

Hi All,

I was trying to understand the KPIs that are used for sensor based analytics.

For example in HVAC sensor analysis, I saw a page that offered a use case where they compared the actual room temperatures of buildings against their expected median values and displayed the variation in temperatures as a KPI.

Please offer some guidance on the same.

I want to create some reports that show how this can add value to clients but at this point I am not even clear what the KPIs should be.
