short text overwrite in "/ C U M / D E S I G N"

Hi SAP Gurus,

I have came across a weird situation while creating CU design using t-code "/c um/design".

Whenever I choose order type by F4 help, content of short text field gets overwritten by short text of Order Type field.

After F4 help (short text gets overwritten by short text of Order type )

I debugged the code and found it was a standard piece of code which is making this change.

So my query is this a configuration setting or a SAP bug ?

If a SAP bug then is there a SAP NOTE available for this.
